The only thing I like more than the grill and smoker, is the happy faces of those who share the meals with me. I would love to smile for the camara and have a pretty fun personality that comes from years if selling women’s shoes. I am available as I have been out of work for a few months and something like this will be a lot of fun.

I’ve been bbqing for about 15 yrs. Had an old Brinkman offset the entire time. Have tried, or at least attempted an entire range of ideas. Recently I purchased a new Lang 36 Hybrid deluxe and have upped my game. I firmly believe through my years of experience that honing ones skills on basics and then acquiring quality equipment will help advance a pit masters skills to an entirely new level of yummy goodness. Always learnig and picking up pointers along the way is what the journey is all about

Anybody know the deadline for the casting?

    • amills July 7, 2014 at 2:34 pm #

We were OVERWHELMED with responses and CoolFire is choosing the cast now. You can still send in an email by tomorrow.

Thanks for the quick reply and I do imagine y’all were swamped. I sent an email a few days ago. Is there a way to verify that submissions were received? I got a non-delivery on the first submission but I think the second went okay. At least I didn’t get anything back anyway. I’d hate to miss a chance like this over a typo. Thanks again!

Yes, yours was received! We’ve had well over a hundred responses … and many from people who don’t read instructions! We’re unable to respond to them personally. I forwarded everything to the production company; they’re making the decisions. I don’t have details on a timeline, but I’ll post about it once I know! Thanks for sending in your nice, detailed inquiry!

Thanks so much for confirming that. That’s at least a small weight off my shoulders! Now the wait begins… Have a good one!

    Hi Amy,
I know you have a million people contacting you. I sent you an email back when I first got it, but wanted to be sure you got mine. Ok is that as clear as mud. How can I be sure you got my email? We would love to come down to Murphysboro…to our favorite BBQ and be part of the fun. It may have come in at terri_kandell@hotmail.com or JTKandell@live.com.
It has be a fun talk around our house (the starry eyed thing) just to be part of something like this.
Please just let me know if you got my email.
    Blessings,
    Terri &jerry Kandell
