Instagram Favorites: Food

InstagramFavorities

This week I’m sharing some of my favorite food Instagram accounts.

The beginning of this post has some tips for expert Instagramming and I have one more bit of advice to add: I’ve noticed many, many private accounts. Maybe you want your account to be private, and that’s certainly okay, but most people are not apt to request a follow if they don’t know you personally. So check your settings and make sure they’re the way you want them to be.

Onto my favorites. Click the image to go directly to that person’s Instagram account. I’ve also added twitter accounts for each.

InstagramFaves_ForkingTastyJason Anello and I became fast friends after he wandered into a talk I was giving at the Cattlemen’s tent at Memphis in May. He’s the wildly talented creative mind behind Manifold agency and the Forking Tasty website and dinner series. Follow his travels across the  globe for his unique take on food and dining. Twitter: @forkingtasty

InstagramFaves_JohnKarangisThe wildly talented chef in charge of Union Square Events kitchen. Some of the most inventive and beautifully presented food I’ve seen, interspersed with pictures of his darling family. I always enjoy a glimpse into the personal life as well as the professional one. Twitter: @jkarangis

InstagramFaves_LevonWallaceLos Angeles meets Kentucky, Levon is the acclaimed chef at Proof on Main. Something interesting is always happening in his kitchen and during his travels, and he has cute children, too. Twitter: @levon_wallace
